When you suffer a serious injury or illness, your life changes in an instant. You might feel overwhelmed, and unsure how you will provide for yourself or your family. Your short-term disability may not be enough to cover the extent of your injury or recovery.
Local Union Members of the Electrical Workers Long Term Disability (LTD) Income Protection Trust can provide an LTD plan for IBEW Union members. The plan protects members after an injury, accident, or illness, on, or off the job. We give you the opportunity to purchase an LTD plan that covers up to 60% of your base salary, tax-free. The IBEW LTD plan has a maximum benefit of $7,500 per month for active, full-time employees. IBEW Local Union is here to help you and your family through this difficult time.
